RFD is Americana Gospel

RFD was founded in March 2024 as a medium for sharing some the of original songs by Randy Lucas at the request of Dennis Cash the music director at The Narrow Trail Cowboy Church in Angier, NC. Upon accepting the request to share some of his original music as well as some slightly tweaked lyrics to other well known songs, Randy asked Fred Honeycutt to join him for harmony and he asked Dennis to do likewise.

In the group, Fred plays guitar, Dennis plays bass guitar and Randy plays guitar.

The first gig for RFD was held on April 14, 2024 at The Narrow Trail Cowboy Church.

This group was brought together for the purpose of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in song. We are not beyond doing some old time non-Gospel bluegrass songs on occasion but our hearts are in the Word and for the Lord Jesus.
