Life for a human has a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual component.   

And each component of that life has both a quantity and a quality attribute.   

it is the quantity and quality of life that was lost in Eden.   Jesus said that He had come that we might have life and have it abundantly (Joh 10:10).   

Jesus has provided us eternal, abundant life.   

Implicit in our desire for life is that life is good and death is to be avoided.   
It is In Christ that we experience the good life and escape death forever.   

God is the source of life.   
So for us to move forward in the quantity and quality of life we must get closer to its source.   

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Joh 14:6 Jesus introduces the sandwich prayer - praise, petition, praise.      Isn't it interesting that Christians have been praying this prayer for 2000 years and yet most Christians do not know the name of the Holy Spirit Father?      Oh yes, some Christians will give you a litany of names from the Old Testament, especially YHVH, but still refer to Him as God (which is just a title) or Father which is just a role.      When Jesus spoke these words to His disciples He was leading them to a monumental Truth.     They were still trying to understand who this man was.     So, He could not have held on to them if He told them that the name of the Father was Jesus and that the Father was standing before them and speaking to them.      So, Jesus instructs them to pray to the Father and hallow His 'name' without telling them the Father's name.     The disciples like Christians today either assumed the 'name' to be YHWH or Lord or God.      It was only at the end of His ministry, before going to the cross, that Jesus told them who He is, who the Father is and what the Father's name is Joh 14:6-14 though He had laid down many hints.     Joh 1:18 Joh 5:37 Joh 10:30.      We are to refer to the Holy Spirit Father of Christ Jesus using His name which is Jesus.     We are to ask the Holy Spirit Father for what we need using the name of Jesus Joh 14:13 Joh 15:16 Joh 16:23.

And the Lord formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Gen 2:7 Our Creator made man in His image and breathed His breath of life into him.

And out of the ground made the Lord to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Gen 2:9

And the Lord said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Gen 3:22 Since man`s nature was corrupted by sin, it would have been a terrible thing for him to have eternal life in his fallen state.     So, the Lord removed the tree.      Since the Tree Of Life is the Holy Spirit, the symbology is that sin separated man from the Holy Spirit.      Christ Jesus was begotten of the Holy Spirit to reconcile us to Himself.

For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. Lev 17:11 Jesus shed His Perfect Blood for our Forgiveness.

See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; Deu 30:15

In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy the Lord, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy the Lord shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. Deu 30:16

But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; Deu 30:17 The things that lead to Idolatry is resistance to the voice of God (His Word) and looking for alternatives to God.      Every False god brings its worshippers into Bondage.

I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it. Deu 30:18

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: Deu 30:19 This verse defines the existential Choice for every person ever born.      Choose God and Live.     Reject God and be Destroyed.

That thou mayest love the Lord thy the Lord, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them. Deu 30:20 Our purpose in Existence is to be in a Love Relationship with God whereby we experience His Life.

There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Jos 1:5

The Holy Spirit hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. Job 33:4

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Psm 16:11 The Lord is our exceeding great reward.     The Holy Spirit is the Spirit Of Jesus Christ who has made His dwelling place in us and us in Him.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?     the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psm 27:1 The light of the world has brought us salvation through His own blood.

One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple. Psm 27:4 Our heart is to stay in His presence and He has rewarded us with His Holy Spirit.

For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light. Psm 36:9 The Lord is life.     Apart from Him there is only death.      The Lord is light.     Apart from Him there is only darkness.

Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the Lord of my life. Psm 42:8 His lovingkindness never fails.     His mercies are from everlasting to everlasting.

Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Psm 63:3 What we experience in fellowship with the Lord is supernatural, extra-terrestrial.     It is higher and sweeter and more satisfying than anything that we may experince in the flesh.     Such experiences evoke praise and thanksgiving to our Lord, the life-giver.

With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. Psm 91:16 The Holy Spirit Of Christ Jesus is Eternal Life and our Lord imparts His life to us who receive Him through faith.

Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Psm 103:4 Our Lord pours His goodness into those who open up by Faith in Him.

For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Pro 3:2 Our Lordïs Spiritual Laws produce life when observed.     When they are ignored death reigns.

For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord. Pro 8:35

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. Pro 11:30 Life, Righteous, Tree

The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death. Pro 14:27

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Pro 18:21 Christ Jesus created us in His image Gen 1:27.      He gave us the powers of imagination and speech.      Just as He is life He has given us life.     Just as Christ's words accomplish His will so our words have the power to accomplish our will.      When Christ speaks He speaks in faith, knowing that what He has spoken will be Isa 55:11.      The Holy Spirit Father gives substance to His words Gen 1:2 Zec 4:6.      Jesus made it possible for us to become New Spirit beings Joh 3:5 by His Holy Spirit Joh 4:24.      Jesus made it possible for our body to be filled with His Holy Spirit Joh 20:22 Act 2:4.      As Spirit Filled New Creatures we are One with the Holy Spirit Father Joh 17:11 and therefore have His will as our will Rom 12:2.      In this mature state of faith and relationship we can speak the words of Christ Jesus by His Holy Spirit and see them manifested just as our Lord Jesus did Joh 14:12.

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. Dan 12:2 This speaks of both resurrections to come:    ➛ the redeemed at Christ`s return    ➛ the lost at the White Throne Judgment

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on.     Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Mat 6:25 Jesus is telling us that the Holy Spirit is our provider and He guarantees our health and prosperity.     No need for us to fret over either.

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Mat 7:14 Jesus is the Narrow Way.     We can come to the Holy Spirit only through Him.      Why are there few?     Pride and deception.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. Mat 16:25 denial of Christ is terminal.     Commitment to Christ despite the cost enables us to find Abundant Life.

And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. Mat 25:46 The Lake Of Fire is for all whose name is not written in the Lamb`s Book Of Life.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel`s, the same shall save it. Mar 8:35 Christ is our life.     So, we must give up the life of the flesh in order to gain Christ.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men. Joh 1:4 In the body of Jesus was life - His Holy Spirit Father.      The Holy Spirit is Eternal Life.      The Holy Spirit in the body of Jesus enabled Him to speak words of Truth which brought light and life to those who received it,

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son Of Man be lifted up: Joh 3:14 He was lifted up on the cross.

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. Joh 3:15 When we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ we are Born Again of the Holy Spirit who is Eternal Life.      So our Lord`s purpose for us is fulfilled in that we have the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit has us.

For the Holy Spirit so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Joh 3:16 The Holy Spirit is the eternal, omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent Creator of all things by the Word.      What world is John speaking of?         ➛ The earth and all the people born into humanity.      The Holy Spirit is love and love is of the Holy Spirit.      The world was created by our Lord and it is good.     We know that man chose rebellion against the Holy Spirit and so humanity became evil.     But the Holy Spirit loves the people of this world and so He birthed Christ Jesus into the world to redeem it and us.      The Gospel is heard and those who are hungry are lead by the Holy Spirit to believe and receive the Truth.      The Truth sets us free from sin, from death and hell and brings us to Eternal Life by the infilling of the Holy Spirit.      Here is understanding:    ➛ Everlasting Life is Eternal Life    ➛ Eternal Life is union with the Holy Spirit.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of the Lord abideth on him. Joh 3:36 When a person believes on the Lord Jesus Christ the Holy Spirit, who is Everlasting Life Joh 17:3, enters them.      Those who never receive Christ Jesus as Saviour and Lord never receive the Holy Spirit, who is Everlasting Life Joh 17:3.      Such people will exist in opposition to the Truth experiencing fear, guilt, sickness, heartache and corruption with no access to the Saviour, the Healer, the Deliverer.     Wilful disconnection from the Lord is self-imposed wrath 2Pe 3:9.      All men fall into one of two categories:    ➛ 1) saved    ➛ 2) Lost Those who are saved have received Christ.      To receive Christ is to receive the Spirit Of Christ, His Holy Spirit.      The Holy Spirit is Everlasting Life Joh 17:3 Those who have not received Christ are lost.      The Lost can be further broken down as    ➛ those who have never heard the Gospel,    ➛ those who have heard the Gospel and rejected it.      It is the job of every Christian to make sure that the people in their life have heard the Gospel.      A big part of the Gospel is that every person will stand before the Lord Jesus Christ.      Those who have received Christ will enter into the joy of the Lord.      Those who have rejected Christ will be cast into the Lake Of Fire.

But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. Joh 4:14 The Water Of Life is the Holy Spirit.      The later part of this verse is often not understood.      When we are Spirit Filled we have the power of life in us.     This means that everything we will ever need is already in us waiting to manifest according to our Word Of Faith.     Eph 3:20 We don`t need ` God way off in heaven` to do anything for us because we now have ` God in us` - the same Spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead in us.     Rom 8:11 The Holy Spirit in us is to manifest Eternal Life because He is the gift of Eternal Life Rom 6:23.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Joh 5:24 Who `sent` Jesus?         ➛ His Holy Spirit who impregnated Mary.      So, we are to believe on Him who sent Jesus?     What does that mean?     It means that we are to believe that the Holy Spirit Father is manifested In Christ Jesus so that    ➛ the Words Jesus spoke    ➛ the Works Jesus did are the Words and Works of His Holy Spirit Father.      Accordingly, what we believe about Christ Jesus is that He is the express image of God, the Holy Spirit Father making Him His own Father.     Father = Son = Holy Spirit = God who is Spirit Soul And Body in Christ Jesus.      Hearing, believing, receiving and doing the Word of the Lord is the expectation of the Lord for each of us.      When we do so we enter into everlasting life.      We are forever delivered from condemnation.

Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. Joh 5:39 The Bible is inspired but not everything in it is the Word Of The Lord.     Many passages are accounts of what happened and how it was perceived by men.      The spoken Word Of The Lord is contained in the Bible.     Jesus said you must search the scriptures for references to the Christ which testify of Jesus.     It is only in Christ Jesus that we find Eternal Life which is His Holy Spirit.      When we encounter Words in scripture which quicken our mind and body the Holy Spirit is bearing witness of Christ Jesus in that Word.

And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. Joh 5:40 To come to Christ Jesus is to come to an understanding who our Creator really is.      All who come to Christ receive life.     Those who do not never know the Creator who is life.

Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son Of Man shall give unto you: for him hath the Holy Spirit Father sealed. Joh 6:27 We must labour (put forth effort) to receive the things of the Lord.     We labor by studying the Word and Praying In The Spirit.

For the bread of the Lord is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Joh 6:33 Jesus is from heaven, sent to earth to bring Eternal Life to us - His Holy Spirit.

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. Joh 6:35 The Holy Spirit fills us as we receive Christ in fact and in fullness, so that all of our needs and desires are met in Him.

And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. Joh 6:40 This is an awesome statement of the love and the will of our Lord for every human being!      This is the Gospel Truth.      Have you seen the Son?         ➛ We see Christ Jesus through eyes of faith in His Word and His Holy Spirit in us.      Note that the Holy Spirit is Everlasting Life.      Also, note that it is by faith in Jesus Christ that His Holy Spirit comes into us and us into Him, making us One with Him (not 'them' as the Holy Spirit Father is the Spirit Of Christ Jesus).

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. Joh 6:47 We have Eternal Life now and forever because the Holy Spirit is Eternal Life and He will never leave or forsake us.      It is truly amazing how that the Holy Spirit gives us so much simply because we honour His Son by believing on Him.

I am that bread of life. Joh 6:48 Jesus is telling the Jews that He is Messiah and that the purpose of the Messiah is to bring life to those who believe and receive Him.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. Joh 6:51 Any questions?     What an awesome revelation and promise.

Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. Joh 6:54 How do we eat His flesh and drink His blood?      Is this in the communion?     No,    ➛ it is in faith that Jesus is the incarnation of the Holy Spirit,    ➛ it is in faith that Jesus is Mighty God    ➛ it is in faith that Jesus is the one and only Saviour    ➛ it is in receiving His Holy Spirit and becoming One with Him.

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. Joh 6:63 This is profound Truth!         ➛ The Holy Spirit makes us alive and keeps us alive.         ➛ The flesh does not help anything.         ➛ It is sustained by the Spirit.         ➛ Our life comes by the Word Of The Lord through His Holy Spirit.      But, the Holy Spirit waits for us to release His power.      We do so by faith in the authority of Christ and His Word and courage to operate as Sons Of The Holy Spirit.

Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go?     thou hast the words of eternal life. Joh 6:68 There is no hope for any person outside of Christ Jesus.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Joh 10:10 The thief is Satan who is the inspiration for all the evil in the world.      Whereas the `I` is Jesus who offers us Eternal Life and Abundant Life.      This verse is a powerful statement contrasting the nature of the enemy with the nature of our Lord Jesus Christ.      Note that the enemy takes by force what is ours, while we must appropriate by faith what is ours in Christ Jesus.      The appropriation is not a `one and done` thing.     Rather, it is an ongoing process throughout our lives on this earth.      Jesus has given us His life in giving us His Holy Spirit who is in every believer who has asked to be filled.     We aught to invoke His life into every aspect of our walk in the earth.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Joh 15:13 The proof of love is sacrifice.

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee, the One and Only Holy Spirit Of Truth, through Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. Joh 17:3 Eternal Life is a gift.     That gift is the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus whereby we are made One with Him.      To know the Holy Spirit, the Spirit Of Christ Jesus is for Him to abide in us and for us to abide in Him.      The purpose of Jesus coming is for us to receive His Holy Spirit and become One with Him.     Mat 3:11 In receiving the Gospel of Grace Through Faith we are Born Again of the Word and His Holy Spirit.     This means that we already have Eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord Rom 6:23.      Eternity in the Spirit Realm is already our state of existence Joh 11:26.      So walk in Newness Of Life Gal 5:25.

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Holy Spirit; and that believing ye might have life through his name. Joh 20:31 The scriptures are the Word of Truth which, when received, is an invitation for the Spirit Of Christ Jesus to make His abode in us creating our New Spirit.      We are Born Again on the authority of the Word by the power of the Holy Spirit.      Since we are Born Again in Spirit and Truth we therefore worship the Lord in Spirit and Truth.     Joh 4:24 We have life through His name.     Jesus is the name of our God.     The Spirit and the Word are One and His name is Jesus.

For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to the Holy Spirit by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Rom 5:10 We needed Jesus to die and we needed Him to rise again to life.     In so doing we are justified and regenerated.

For if by one man`s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ). Rom 5:17 Yes!     We reign in life.     We are more than conquerors.     We are now Sons Of The Holy Spirit.     This is the same Holy Spirit that raised Christ from the dead.     We can do all things through the Holy Spirit of Jesus who strengthens us.

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Rom 6:4 The Sin Nature which we were born with is a result of Original Sin Gen 2:17 Gen 3:10,11.      It was crucified with Christ.      By Faith in Christ Jesus we are Born Again - made New Spirit beings Joh 3:5 Gal 5:25.      Your mind, emotions and body were not crucified with Christ.     You must crucify them by acts of your will.         ➛ let this mind be in you - Phi 2:5    ➛ mortify your members - Col 3:5    ➛ submit yourselves to the Lord - Jam 4:7    ➛ resist the devil - Jam 4:7    ➛ present your body - Rom 12:1    ➛ follow peace with all men - Heb 12:14    ➛ have faith in the Lord - Mar 11:22 and so on.      All the action verbs above indicate that our soul (mind, emotions and will) are not instantly perfected in the New Birth as our spirit is 1Co 2:6 Phi 3:15.      This verse says that we have Newness Of Life but we must walk in it.     `Walk` is an action verb implying that we have to knowingly and willfully decide to let the New Spirit being manifest.      Otherwise, it won`t.      Spirit Salvation is instantaneous.      Soul Salvation is a process totally dependent on our will while we are in the flesh.      At His return Jesus will finish His redemption work by translating us from corruptible to incorruptible 1Co 15:50-55.      In the meantime, our Lord expects us to press toward the mark Phi 3:14.      Immersion into Christ Jesus is the point of baptism.     It is not a one time event but a for-all-time state of absorption into His Holy Spirit so that He is in us and we are in Him.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of the Holy Spirit is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Rom 6:23 The sin that condemns to the Lake Of Fire is rejection of Jesus Christ Joh 3:18.      The gift of the Lord Jesus is His own Eternal Life, which is relationship with His Holy Spirit Joh 5:26.      There are two types of death:    ➛ physical death Heb 9:27    ➛ spiritual death Rev 21:8.      Adam and Eve did not immediately die physically when they sinned.     However, they immediately died spiritually Gen 2:17.      When a person sins, whether believer or unbeliever, the result is an aspect of death.     Somethings shrinks or shrivels instead of growing when sin occurs Joh 10:10.      Jesus gives us His life.      What is His life?         ➛ His Holy Spirit Joh 1:4.      Eternal Life is another name for His Holy Spirit.      To reject the Holy Spirit Of Christ Jesus is to reject Christ Jesus Himself Joh 8:19 Act 7:51.      We don`t receive Jesus when we believe on Him.     Rather, we receive His Holy Spirit in the Name Of Jesus who manifests Eternal Life in and through us Joh 3:5 1Jn 4:2.      The Holy Spirit Of Christ Jesus is who will raise us at Christ`s return Rom 8:11.      The gift of Himself is irrevokable Joh 14:16.      However, if we let sin reign in our mortal bodies we will suffer the consequences of that sin destroying our physical lives, our testimonies and our walk with the Lord Col 1:10.      Instead of us living a victorious, productive life with treasure laid up in heaven, we will be saved as by fire 1Cor 5:5.

For the law of the Holy Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Rom 8:2 We are under the Law of the Spirit Of Life by faith in Christ Jesus.     We are free from the law of Sin And Death by faith in Christ Jesus.     This is awesome!      This is speaking of spiritual life and spiritual death.     There is no condemnation upon those who are In Christ Jesus Rom 8:1.      We are New Spirit beings who are perfect Phi 3:15.      We are accepted in the beloved Eph 1:6.      In the flesh we have not yet been redeemed Rom 8:23.      That will happen at our Lord`s return 1Co 15:52.      In the meantime, the Law Of The Lord still reigns.     This means that sin and obedience both have consequences Rom 6:23.      So, do not confuse the spirit and the flesh.     The spirit is free.     The flesh is subject to coming under bondage to sin Rom 6:16.

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Rom 8:6 Our mind is that which    ➛ connects our spirit to the physical universe    ➛ receives inputs from our 5 senses    ➛ organizes and prioritizes information    ➛ forms ideas and opinions about the world.      Because we were born with a Sin Nature and we live in a fallen world our minds are corrupt.     We must have our minds renewed so that we cease being Carnal Minded and become Spiritual Minded.      Being Spiritual Minded can only be done    ➛ by our New Spirit being    ➛ operating through our Soul    ➛ which has been transformed by the Word and Holy Spirit.      In that state our thinking, meditations, speech and actions reflect Truth and we experience Abundant Life Carnal Minded is the opposite.         ➛ It is disconnected from the Word and the Holy Spirit.         ➛ It ignores our New Spirit existence.         ➛ It continues to operate in the flesh.      In that state there is only disappointment, discouragement, disillusionment and death.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Rom 8:38 Nothing can come between us and the Holy Spirit Father because we are in Him and He is in us.

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of the Holy Spirit, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom 8:39 It is the love of the Holy Spirit which envelopes and imbues us with His peace and comfort.

If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. 1Co 15:19 Christianity makes no sense if there is no resurrection.      Actually no religion does nor does any moral code.

But if His Holy Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, His Holy Spirit that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Holy Spirit that dwelleth in you. Rom 8:11 This is one of those verses that nominal Christianity has gutted.      Yes, the Holy Spirit is the One who will change us from corruptible to incorruptible at the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ 1Co 15:52.      However, we now have the `quickener` in us to make us alive today.     He is the One who implements the provisions of Grace in our lives according to our faith in the Word Of The Lord.      Unless we walk in the Spirit we will not experience the power that He represents.      We walk in the Spirit by calling into play the Word Of The Lord - hearing, believing, receiving and doing it ( He Be Re Do).      All things for life and godiness are ours 2Pe 1:3, but they are appropriated according to the power that works in us Eph 3:20.      We are not to be sick, weak or poor.     We are supposed to be healthy, strong and prosperous.     And we can be in the Holy Spirit and the Word.

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of the Holy Spirit, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Gal 2:20 Water Baptism is symbolic of what actually happens in the Spirit Realm.      Paul explains that the old Sin Nature, that we were, is dead and buried with Christ so that we, by Grace Through Faith, are raised with Him as New Spirit beings with the opportunity and power to operate in the newness of Abundant Life John 10:10.

For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Holy Spirit shall of the Holy Spirit reap life everlasting. Gal 6:8 The Spiritual Law of Sowing And Reaping is immutable as are all the Lord`s laws.      On the one hand they effect the Lord`s love and Grace while on the other hand they effect the Lord`s wrath and judgment.      The fruit of the flesh is corruption.     The fruit of the Spirit is Eternal Life and Abundant Life.

For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in the Holy Spirit. Col 3:3 Paul reminds us that the Old Man is dead and we are now New Spirit beings who are In Christ in the Lord.      We must constantly remind ourselves of this reality.     The flesh still remembers the Old Man by which it was shaped.     This is why it is so important to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.     Rom 12:2

When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Col 3:4 Christ is our life?     How is Christ our life?     Jesus is our Saviour but how is He our life?      By virtue of His Holy Spirit in us and us in Him.      So, when you hear the word, Christ, you must understand that it refers to the Body Of God, the Soul Of God and the Spirit Of God.     Likewise, when you hear the word, Jesus, you must understand that it refers to the Body Of God, the Soul Of God and the Spirit Of God.      Jesus told us to refer to His Holy Spirit Father using His name, Jesus Joh 14:13 Joh 14:26 Joh 15:16 Joh 16:23,26.      Follow the link to this article - In My Name - for more on this point and why it is important to think and speak In Jesus` Name.      This prophetic verse has two fulfillments.      The obvious one has to do with our translation at His return.     1Co 15:52 The not-so-obvious fulfillment has to do with the renewing of our minds so that we have the Mind Of Christ and so do His works.     Rom 12:2 Virtually every Christian is looking to the return of Christ and the completion of redemption.     Rom 8:23 However because of ignorance of, or unbelief in, our potential In Christ, most Christians do not manifest as New Spirit beings today.     We simply are not like our Lord.     1Jn 4:17 Regardless of the extent of our knowledge and faith in who we are In Christ, when Christ returns that New Spirit being will manifest through a translated soul and body.     1Co 15:53    ➛ Study the Word to be approved of the Lord.     2Ti 2:15    ➛ Pray in the Spirit to build up your faith.     Jud 1:20    ➛ Speak the Word and do the Word.     Joh 15:7 Jam 1:22 When you do, Christ will appear in and through you today manifesting His glory by His Holy Spirit.     2Co 3:18

For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. 1Ti 4:8 What is godliness?         ➛ it is being born of the Holy Spirit and Word    ➛ it is having our minds transformed to the Mind Of Christ    ➛ it is being supernaturally natural.      The work of the Holy Spirit in us is to manifest Christ Jesus through us Col 1:27.      This is a supernatural work with all glory belonging to the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus.      Unfortunately godliness is often reduced to just abstaining from sin by managing lust.     If a person is preoccupied by lust and sin they are de-facto unholy.      We are supposed to be preoccupied by the higher things of the Lord such as preaching the Gospel, healing the sick and setting the captive free.     When we do so, we are Christ Conscious and no longer Sin Conscious.      Abundant Life in this age is enjoyed through an intimate, personal relationship with the Holy Spirit.     It manifests in power and increase.

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Jam 1:12 The temptation is persecution for Christ`s sake.     There is no glory in being tempted by sin.     Such tempting is a sign of immaturity - that we are still Carnal Minded.

And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. 1Jn 2:25 The gift of the Holy Spirit is Himself who is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren.     He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. 1Jn 3:14 The Holy Spirit is love and so we who are filled with the Holy Spirit manifest love.

Hereby perceive we the love of the Holy Spirit, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 1Jn 3:16 This kind of love comes only by the indwelling Holy Spirit.

And this is the record, that the Lord hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 1Jn 5:11 The Holy Spirit is the life giver and that life is Himself.     We receive the gift of the Holy Spirit who is Eternal Life by faith in His Son, Jesus.

He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of the Holy Spirit hath not life. 1Jn 5:12 Existence is not life.     This verse is speaking of Eternal Life and Abundant Life that come only to a person who has received Christ Jesus.     Those who don`t receive Christ never experience Eternal Life or Abundant Life.      By faith in Christ Jesus we receive the gift of Eternal Life, the Spirit Of Christ who is the Holy Spirit.      Jesus is the object of Faith.      The Holy Spirit is the object of fact.      We receive Him ( Jesus) who can be seen, by faith so that we can receive Him ( Holy Spirit) who cannot be seen by gift.

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of the Holy Spirit; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of the Holy Spirit. 1Jn 5:13 We are to know that we have Eternal Life.     The Holy Spirit is Eternal Life.     When we receive the Holy Spirit, we know it.      Those who reject the gift of the Holy Spirit, reject Eternal Life for they are One and the Same.

And we know that the Son of the Holy Spirit is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ.     This is the true Lord, and eternal life. 1Jn 5:20 Jesus was born of the Holy Spirit.     The `him that is true` is the Holy Spirit.     Jesus came that we could understand His nature - His goodness, His love and His giving.      By receiving the Gospel of Christ Jesus we are born into the Spirit Of Christ Jesus.     Jesus is the Truth.     Jesus is the true `God` and His Holy Spirit is Eternal Life.

And the Holy Spirit and the bride say, Come.     And let him that heareth say, Come.     And let him that is athirst come.     And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Rev 22:17 A final call to those who have not hardened their hearts to His love and Grace.     The Water Of Life is the Holy Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ who is given freely to whosoever asks.      The Body Of Christ is the Bride Of Christ who extends the invitation by the Holy Spirit for all to come.         ➛ We preach the Gospel    ➛ the Holy Spirit draws believers to Himself.
